JBL Flip 3 Review. The Best Portable Bluetooth Speaker Under USD100

JBL Flip 3 should be the smart choice if you're searching for a cheap, portable Bluetooth speaker. With powerful bass and great volume, the speaker gives you sound quality; include water resistance, a great speakerphone and better than average battery life, and it's an inside and out top performer.

Design:
There are many of portable bluetooth connected speakers, but this has a really simple and sleek design. It’s splash proofing has rubber seals, surrounded by a smooth matte black trim. The design received a major upgrade and overall looks great, compared to the previous two versions.
The JBL Bass Radiators add a great visual element to an otherwise saturated market of speakers. It’s feels awesome to watch the side radiators start to pump as the music flows through them. The Flip 3 comes in 8 diferent of colors: yellow, teal, red, pink, orange, gray, blue and black.
The Flip 3 features controls for volume, speakerphone and Bluetooth-pairing on the speaker and have same color as the fabric.

Performance:
The JBL Flip 3 has the best sound quality for the price point. The bass sounds good, and the treble is great.

Battery life:
For the JBL Flip 3, you can pump a solid 8 hours out of the speaker between charges, and if you adjust your volume a bit you can get up to an extra two hours of music. It takes about three and a half hours to fully recharge. There are also light indicators on the speaker to show you the battery level, which many other competing speakers don’t have.

Speakerphone:
The Flip 3 produced better overall sound through the speakerphone than do most portable Bluetooth speakers. Some says it’s slightly better than the iPhone's built-in speakerphone.

Ruggedness Testing:
One of the biggest additions to the Flip 3 is water resistance, which should keep the speaker safe when you bring it to the pool or if you get caught in the rain while camping. But the Flip is designed to survive only a few splashes.
